Killjoys is a fast paced space adventure about a trio of hard-living, party-loving bounty hunters working for the R.A.C (Recovery and Apprehension Coalition). An Independent interplanetary organization of assassins and retrieval experts, who are known across the J cluster as Killjoys. The show centers on their lives and activities in the Quad, a heavily populated solar system, ruled by a tyrannical class based corporation known as the company. With the whole system verging on revolutionary war and their own bloody pasts finally catching up with them. The three struggle daily to maintain their R.A.C neutrality by focusing on the only law a Killjoy won't break "The Warrant is all". In the Quad, a planetary system on the brink of a bloody interplanetary class war, a fun loving trio of bounty hunters attempt to remain impartial as they chase deadly warrants. Killjoys is part of SyFy's attempt to reclaim science fiction from JJ Abrams and the CW and it is a positive sign of things to come. <br/><br/>The show, about interstellar bounty hunters, is pretty straight forward and fun. Science fiction should have some science elements to it but Killjoys doesn't fall into the trap of trying to be too clever or sciency. The great Sci-Fi series (Star Trek, Stargate, Dr. Who, etc) were always fun first and then added elements of mystery and future science & technology where appropriate - Killjoys definitely follows that tradition, it is a fun, action oriented series first and foremost and any complications, interpersonal issues, mysteries and cool tech stuff never overwhelms the story. It is fun and easy to watch and follow. I am 2 Eps. in and so far I love it! I really like the space western vibe; from the settings, to the clothing of the different locals, this kind of reminds me a bit of FireFly, but doesn't rip it off in any way,it just has a similar flavor. Dutch is one of the best series Leads in a long time; beautiful, feminine,tough, loyal, and driven! the story (at least so far) is well written, and each episode gives a peak into the characters back story. also the visuals are very well done, and the CGI and props look pretty believable! I love space Sci-Fi shows, and its been awhile since I have found one that I really can get into! I hope they keep this one around for awhile! lets see where it takes us!
